Privacy Policy

iygig is a private messaging service, operated by David Aintablian, for coordinating recreational events and activities by SMS and web. Individual hosts use it to organize get-togethers and invite people they personally know; you receive messages only in connection with a host who has invited you.

What we collect

Your name and mobile phone number (provided by you or by a host with your consent), your RSVP responses, and the contents of texts you send to the service so it can respond.

How it’s used

Only to run the service: sending event invitations, RSVP confirmations, headcount updates, event confirmations, and reminders, and showing you event pages. Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per week around scheduled events). Message and data rates may apply.

Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is never sold or shared. Your name and attendance are visible only to your host and to people you have mutually chosen to share them with; other participants see anonymous counts only. Messages are delivered via Twilio, our SMS carrier platform, under their data-protection terms.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately. Reply HELP for help. You can also ask your host to remove your information entirely.
